How to make a quilt in one weekend that comprises of the fabric your heart is set on.
For advance intermediate or even beginners who know how to use an electric sewing machine

Evelyn Montague your instructor is a former teacher , a quilter of international repute. Evelyn is a member of Quilt Art (UK) and former director of IQA (Houston, Tx). She has conducted workshops at major quilt events all over the world since 1980.

Schedule of Patchwork Workshop
Subject: Cot or lap quilt in one weekend. With this session you will leave the workshop with the top for eiher one of the above. You will have learnt Evelyns quick asembly method.
Schedule: First evening intoductions and we get to know one another.
1st day- We asemble the jelly roll sashes. One hour break will be made available for purchase of more jelly rolls at the local quilt shop at cost price.
2nd day- Cutting and reassembly the result of the 1st day.
You will need
-Electric Sewing Machine
- Normal Sewing Kit
- Fabric cutting scissors or blade & ruler
-A fabric you would like to use
-Two Jelly Rolls. More will be available for sale at the workshop

Put some thought into the pupose of this quilt because you will need 2 metres of your favourite fabric so that you can match it against the jelly sashes you will pick.
For instanceif you are making a counter pane for your bed then bring a fabric that will go with your curtains or if you are planning a gift cot quilt bring pink or for a boy bring blue etc. these are merely suggestions so you know what you are aiming for when you select the 1 or 2 jelly rolls you will also need for this workshop.
